The Pre-Professional Program offers diverse training for students ages 7 to 17 during the school year. Classes are taught by The Ailey School’s experienced and distinguished faculty.  

Auditions

Spring Term 2026

Upcoming audition times and age groups will be determined by program availability. Audition details will be announced when registration opens.
Students ages 11 and older must have previous ballet training.

Deadlines

Space is limited! Advance deposits are required to reserve space.

Accepted applicants are required to make payment shortly after being notified of acceptance to reserve their space in the program. View tuition prices and payment plans.

Minimum payment of the Quarterly payment option is required to reserve space at the time of enrollment.

Tuition & Fees

Tuition varies from $1,253/year to $5,773/year depending on level and number of classes per week. The minimum payment required to complete registration is the first tuition installment and required fees.

Open House

Join us for an Open House!  

Open House visits are scheduled periodically throughout the year. Visits are approximately 45 minutes and include a building tour as well as viewing classes that are similar to your child's age group, which take place only on specified days. 

Note: Open Houses are informational events and not a pre-requisite for program enrollment.  Audition and Enrollment information for the Pre-Professional Program will be shared subsequently.
